DermaBlend Covermatte comes in a black sleek round compact. On opening, it has a good quality mirror with a neat separate compartment for the sponge. It comes in five shades, I use ‘Skin Tone Gold 45’ and ‘Sand 35’ as they colour match my skin tone.
After moisturising, take the sponge and do circular movements on the powder and apply it to your skin starting from the centre of your face and moving outwards in light gentle strokes. For more coverage, go over the face again until you get the required results.
I have used this product many times and I found it absorbs excess sebum, stops you from having a shiny T zone, covers pigmentation well and made my pores look smaller. It has a great matte finish and it is one of my favourite foundations to take away on holiday to a hot climate and it tends to stay on longer, even after swimming, than other foundations.
I recommend this foundation to anyone who wants great coverage, especially people who are prone to acne and breakouts, due to having salicylic acid and being paraben-free you are less likely to have a reaction.
