Nuz Shugaa's Review of the WellMax Callus Peel at Beauty Lounge London

The WellMax Callus Peel is a innovative callus removal process, which is paraben-free, not tested on animals, contains tartaric acid, lactic acid and critic acid, which are all known for breaking down dead skin.

I’ve had this process a few times at the Beauty Lounge London during a pedicure. It can also be performed as a standalone treatment. A soft pad, soaked in the acid mixture, is placed on your hard skin and heels and cling film is wrapped around your feet to keep it in place. After 10-15 minutes the therapist will take off the cling film and the callus peel and scrap off the dead skin with a plastic spatula. You’ll see notice the dead skin will be removed. Afterwards, the therapist will use a disposable foot file to smooth over the heels and the calluses. Then the therapist will massage your feet with a hydration cream full of essential oils to moisturise and revitalise your feet.

This treatment is great for Men’s feet too. If you are diabetic please inform the therapist before the treatment commences.

After this treatment, my feet feel beach-ready as they are very smooth, no cracked heels, no calluses and the results last up to four weeks or more. If you suffer from very hard skin and calluses I would recommend to have this treatment at least twice a month to break down the dead skin. It is one of my favourite treatments to have during a pedicure and I love that the therapists are very thorough as they’ve been doing this treatment for years.

Prices start from £20 depending on how many pads are required. There is an additional charge with a pedicure included.
