Using the same light technology in Neutrogena’s Acne Mask, this device was created as a quick and easy tool to target individual acne spots. The blue light targets bacteria whilst the red light reduces underlying inflammation, and together they are very effective.
Opening the packages, you find a futuristic pen inside, it is light and can be slipped into a pocket or handbag so it’s very convenient.
Step 1 Wash your skin to remove oil and make-up
Step 2 Place the light-emitting head of the pen over an individual spot
Step 3 Press the ‘on’ button (batteries included!)
Step 4 Hold the pen over the spot for 2 minutes
Step 5 The pen will switch off automatically
Step 6 Repeat up to three times a day on any individual spot
I took this on week long holiday to use on a stubborn one-spot breakout. I applied it for three times a day for two days and with each use the spot reduced in size until it faded into nothingness! It is easy to use and discreet so I could use it at the dressing table, by the pool or even in flight.
I recommend this product for people who have an annoying spot or two. It works very well, especially on teenage and oily skin. For more problematic skin I recommend the Light Therapy Acne Mask, which gives wider coverage.
